Qualified Mates can continue their training to become Skipper Candidates. Skippers are trained to both sail and manage our boats at the highest levels. Ultimately, all Skippers are appointed by the club and their qualifications are reviewed every two years. The invaluable training and experience provided to those members who choose to become Skippers allow our members to achieve the highest levels of sailing competence.
